Relationship With Nutrition

The reasons that your body is holding on to excess weight can be different for us all. You may feel that you are doing all the right things, eating healthy food, exercising regularly and yet still not seeing the excess weight budge. We all have different lifestyles, different habits and some may be challenged by health conditions affecting our weight, so there really cannot be a one-size-fits all approach to losing weight.

“At Ellingham Nutrition, our Registered Nutritional Therapist, Annie, will support you to unravel the nutrition and dietary myths and conflicting information.”

How Can Nutritional Therapy Help With Weight Loss?

  • We can review your food diary to help tailor a weight loss programme that is right for you.
  • Provide practical advice to help you implement healthy, positive changes and keep you focused.
  • Provide meal inspiration and a plethora of weight loss recipes.
  • We will go through a detailed history to see what may be driving your weight gain.
  • Test recommendations if there appears to be anything affecting your weight, for example thyroid tests or a stool test to see if any imbalances in your gut bacteria are driving your food cravings.

How I work

You will be asked to complete a nutrition questionnaire before your appointment. This helps me to identify any imbalances that may be affecting your weight loss strategies. Then we can meet for an initial 75 minute consultation, either face-to-face or via zoom or telephone. I will provide a nutrition and lifestyle plan that suits your lifestyle and is sustainable and effective, with the aim of helping you lose weight and maintain a healthy weight long term.

Our fees

This service is tailored for people who aren’t able to make it into the clinic but still want one-to-one nutritional support from the comfort of their own homes and fit around your busy lifestyle.

The Ellingham Nutrition team offer consultations online via zoom, this offers you a similar experience to an in-person appointment, but the consultations will be via a secure online video instead of a face-to-face consulting room.

Our nutritional consultations can also be conducted face-to-face in our clinic. A one-to-one consultation with each client will further understand the factors affecting their nutrition and well-being.
